JUNIOR PROGRAM
Welcome to junior tennis at MHTC! Our program includes 4 - 90 minute lessons and a junior membership. Lessons run on Saturdays in May for ages 7+ with additional events scheduled throughout the season.

7 & 8 (9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.)

9 & 10 (10:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.)

In addition to the above lesson dates, MHTC also offers several drop in sessions, as well as the Tim Hortons Junior Singles Tournament (June 6) which are included with the program fee.
Cost:
$100/player, includes the lessons, optional events and a junior membership for the season.

Tennis racquets for juniors are sized according to the child’s height.

Under 3’6: Racquet length 19 inches

3’6 – 3’11: Racquet length 21 inches

3’11 – 4’6: Racquet length 23 inches

4’6 – 5’: Racquet length 25 inches

5’ and up: Racquet length 27 inches (adult size)
You may purchase 19 and 21 inch racquets at the tennis club. Larger racquets can be purchased at SportChek, Walmart, and other retailers.

Please ensure your child has a quality pair of non-marking runners and comes each week with a water bottle, hat and sunscreen.
